Lace Up For Jumpstart Hockey Tournament

If you needed a good reason to play or watch hockey, you didn't need to look any further than the Lace Up For Jumpstart Hockey Tournament. This is an annual event put together by Canadian Tire and sponsored by some of their wonderful vendors. Plenty of hockey, raffles and silent auctions to enjoy. Former NHLer Brad May was even playing for one team. There was a great Pub Night Friday with the Leaf's game on the  big screen. A puck toss and family skate on Saturday. I'm not sure what the total amount was raised but thanks to Premier Tech for donating $30,000! After being champions two years running, they were unable to make it a three-peat. They are still champions in the eyes of all those kids they will inevitably help get involved in sports. PIX
