Photo Adventure No.43: World Junior Hockey Tournament 2015

A lot of Canadians look forward to this hockey tournament more than Christmas! It starts on Boxing Day and goes for 10 days straight. This is the first time I have ever attended a game at this tourney. Team Canada is playing the opening round in Montreal along with The U.S.A., Finland, Slovakia and Germany. While in Toronto, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Denmark and Switzerland played their Round Robin games. I went to see the Czechs play the Danes in exciting match that the score went back and forth with the game winning goal was on a breakaway from the Czechs who won 4-3. On New Years Eve I also got to see the Russians play the Czechs. It was also an entertaining game since the Czechs had to win to avoid relegation. The Big Game went down tonight with the beloved home team brining home the gold! GO CANADA GO PIX
