Travelogue No.33: Food is the Same Yet Different. Doha, Qatar
There is pretty much every American fast food chain to found in Doha. KFC, Chili's, Appleby's, Dunkin' Donuts and of course the golden arches of McDonald's. Dairy Queen and Tim Horton's for the Canadians. Of course there are also many types of Middle Eastern restaurants including Turkish, Syrian and Iranian. Grocery stores, or Hypermarkets as they call them are a real trip. Similar in look and taste but still a bit strange. PIX
