Maybe it was a Bugs Bunny cartoon where I had heard of Pismo Beach before. I can`t be sure what it was but I am glad I visited the Clam Capitol of the World. I love fried clams and clam chowder and I was as happy as a clam eating there. I also met a great singer & guitar player, Rick Schafer who I am happy to call a friend. It was amazing to meet someone on the road willing to share great personal and fascinating stories.
